With our smart communication light in conjunction with the free app, it really is possible. The attractive sensor light not only illuminates your entrance area, but also delivers pin-sharp images to your smartphone or tablet thanks to the high-quality camera. The integrated intercom allows you to communicate in real time with the person at the door - conveniently and effortlessly from anywhere in the world or simply from your couch.

Steinel CAM Sensor Lights are STEINEL's first WLAN-based camera lights and are always connected to you via app. As soon as the high-precision infrared motion sensor detects with movement, the light comes on and you receive a message on your mobile device. The precisely adjustable camera transmits images of your entrance area to your smartphone or tablet via WLAN and gives you the opportunity to interact. You can see and hear exactly what is going on outside your front door and communicate from your smartphone or tablet via the built-in intercom. As soon as motion is detected, the corresponding images are stored on an SD card in the light.

Fixed a bug related to restarting the camera via the app
In this update, we have optimized the app interface as well as the connection speed and stability with our camera lights. We now also support the new generation of our camera lights: L625 and XLED Cam2 – featuring many new functions and an improved setup process. To continue using L600, L620, and XLED Cam1, please use the “Manual Add” option in the app.

Due to a bug, sometimes no new camera light could be installed if the location approval was not granted.
After ending a live transmission of a camera light, the stream was sometimes not closed correctly in the background. This caused problems when reconnecting. This bug no longer occurs. The system now runs more stable and faster.
